Ethienne is 32 years old and lives with his wife and baby girl. Both he and his wife work as farmers growing a range of seasonal shops. Ethienne also runs a small grocery shop selling a variety of staple foods and household goods to provide for is wife and baby girl.
Ethienne has been running his small grocery shop for around six years. He has built up a dedicated customer base in his local area and has decided to request a loan to stock on his usual products and new products that he thinks will sell well.
With his loan, Ethienne will invest in sacks of rice and beans, cooking oil, boxes of soft drinks and cakes. Ethienne’s wife also supports him in the shop when she can, but they hope to create work for one other person in the future which will mean they can focus more on farming to increase their income further.
If you are lending, please be aware that due to the current COVID-19 pandemic your repayments could be at greater risk of delay or default.
