Ángel Benito

Ángel is 24 years old. Single, he lives with his parents. The house is built of rustic adobe material, located in the Cajabamba district.

Ángel’s mother gave him a small capital to start up his business realising that it was difficult for him to find a paid job. He saw that in Cajabamba there is a market for soft drinks, water, juice, and yogurts so he started running his own soft drink business. At the initial stage of his business he started selling soft drinks in small volumes. With the help of small loans, he managed to grow his business and offers better price to his customers. He sells his items in wholesale and retail basis. His main customers are residents who lives in Cajabamba and the surrounding villages. His business hours are from 07:00 am to 7:00 pm and his average sales is around S / 10,000.00 soles (£1891.35) with a profit margin of 25%.

Ángel applied for a loan to make a bulk purchase of assorted soft drinks, juices, yogurts, waters, and add other items. With the income generated after the loan investment he wishes to expand his business and offer a variety of products to his customers. He hopes his business will continue growing, because he is ready to work hard to have a successful business so that he can help his family.
