Idaneth started selling different kinds of health, beauty and hygiene products in 2002. She became a member of a well known direct selling company in the Philippines called Ever Bilena and has been awarded for acquiring the highest record of sales. Right now, some of her customers have difficulty in repaying their dues because of the pandemic but Idaneth is still hoping that everything will be back to normal soon. In May last year Idaneth transferred her shop to a general store business found in the public market of Buanoy. In there, she owns two stalls where she sells various food items, household materials and etc. Her store has been operating for many years now and it was being manage by a couple. They share the profit every month. Because of the pandemic Idaneth decided to transfer and manage the two business at the same time. Aside from her children who helps in the store, she also hire two workers. Her children are taking module classes so at the same time they can help in the store. Outside the public market not too far away from her stalls, she started an agrivet supply business that has been operating for about four months now. Her business is open everyday from 7 in the morning until 7:30 in the evening. She earn sales more than 10,000 pesos (£152) a day.
Idaneth has been a loyal member of the MFI-Lamac since 2008. She has repaid several loans already that helped her finance her two business. This month, she availed a larger loan in order to have additional funds to restock her store. She will buy volume of rice, corn, animal feeds, sodas, grocery items, cooking oil and more. Part of the loan will also be used to pay the stall rights fee worth 30,000 pesos (£455.30). She acquired a new stall at the back of the market and she will use this area as stock room of her products. She had difficulty in arranging and displaying her stocks properly for she only have a small space. In the future, she plan to acquire the vacant stall beside her stock room and use the area to display her health, beauty and hygiene products. This is her fifth to loan from Lendwithcare and she is hoping for continuous support from the lenders. She will repay the loan over the period of six months.
