Fahad Ali is 25 years old and lives in an area of Kasur called Kot Murad Khan. Fahad has not married yet, so he lives with and cares for his Mother.
To earn an income, Fahad runs a small business making environmentally friendly jute and fabric bags. These bags are becoming more and more popular for packing groceries such as lentils and rice, and he has a sturdy customer base currently.
To make the bags, Fahad buys jute fabric rolls, cuts the fabric into pieces and then sews the bags as per the required dimensions. So far, Fahad has been very pleased with how the business has been growing. He earns around £75 per month, but he would like to increase his income by growing his product range and offering different types of bags.
In order to take his business to the next stage, Fahad has requested a loan so that he can by jute fabric in bulk and experiment with different bag designs to offer new products and grow his income.
