Korenishi is a bee-keeping Cooperative located in the high mountain Area of Korenishi. The cooperative consists of 6 members who have experience producing high quality honey. This cooperative have also taken advantage of the beautiful location in which they live and have also built a couple of guest houses where they encourage tourists to stay and visit the beautiful local area.
Since forming the cooperative, the members have managed to procure special processing equipment for properly packaging and labeling their honey. Since doing this it has become easier for "Korenishi" to establish links with potential buyers. Currently, the cooperative is the official supplier for several supermarkets. Additionally, their guesthouse was built on a piece of land that had been mostly abandoned and the cooperative is now really pleased that they have managed to return life to their beautiful village. Today, Cooperative Korenishi and " Korenishuli Veranda" have many guests from all parts of the country, enjoying beautiful nature and sampling their agricultural products. The main challenge for the cooperative at the moment is how to expand their tourism activities. They are therefore requesting a loan top renovate and expand their existing guesthouse so they can accommodate more tourists.
