Weneber Ermac is a 43 year old female entrepreneur who lives with her husband Ermest and their three children in the village called Lusaran in Cebu province. Her eldest is now teaching at a private school, second child attends 1st year college and youngest is 2 years old. Way back in 2004, the couple started a grocery store business. They sell wide variety of groceries, bread, household products, footwear, ready to wear clothes and more household items.
Because of their good business ethics, their business continues to progress. Currently, Weneber employs two regular sales ladies and one baker. Her store is open everyday from 5 in the morning until 7 in the evening. She sells variety of consumable products for people and animals. She also sell various farm inputs and household items. She offers her products in both cash and credit and usually she earn up to 15,000 pesos (around £228.42) daily, except on Saturdays for it is market day. During Saturdays, she hire ten extra workers for she also sell food dishes and pork meat per kilo basis. The couple mans the store daily and twice a week they go to Cebu city to purchase stocks for restocking their store.
Weneber was funded once by Lendwithcare last February 2018 and has repaid that loan successfully. She applied for another larger loan through the MFI-Lamac, wherein she has been a member for more than three years now and repaid ten previous loans. She is happy for being a member since her capital build-up in the MFI goes higher and higher.
Weneber will use the loan to access funds intended for the renovation of her store. She will buy construction materials like concrete blocks, steel bars, cement and other materials needed. She hired two males to renovate her store and she pays each one of them 450 pesos (around £6.85) daily.
Weneber is thankful for the loans she receives, the loans greatly helps her in running her business and she has access to more business capital. She hopes and prays for her business to progress even more so she could continuously provide the needs of her family and send all her children to get the highest education. She promise to repay the loan in twelve months time.
