Jesabil Quiaot is 24 year old married woman with three children ages 5 years old, 1 years old and 1 month old. Her husband is Michael James works in a private company. The family lives in the village of Lamac which is in the town of Pinamungajan in Cebu province. Jesabil stayed at home and takes care of her children and beside that, she also now manage a store where she sells animal feeds, vitamins and medicines.
Last 12th of January this year, the couple open and agrivet supply shop and named their shop " MRJ agrivet supply". They sell products for chicken and pigs. The shop is located near the intersection that are visible to many villagers and passersby. They are not paying rent since the owner of the land and house is her father in law. They also lived there behind the shop.
To finance her business, Jesabil applied for her third loan to the MFI-Lamac. She will use the loan to purchase products such as animal feeds, medicines and vitamins. For now she is earning between 300 to 600 pesos (about £ 4.51 to £9) daily since she just recently opened the business. Jesabil is hoping that her business will grow so she could earn more income to deal with their living expenses.
She will repay the loan over the period of six months.
