Onisima

Loan description:

Onisima Maeques is 46 years old and married. She is a butcher and has a small stall in the public market in the town of Balamban, Cebu. Since she has no dependents, once her own household expenses are met, she uses her income to help relatives. She has around ten years experience as a butcher and has built up a good clientele. She sells a variety of meat including pork, chicken and beef. She has had her application for a loan approved by the microfinance institution First Consolidated. She will use the loan as working capital principally to buy further supplies of fresh meat. She is in fact a regular borrower and promptly repaid all previous loans. Her stall does provide her with a stable source of income but she does have hopes to eventually expand to a bigger stall where she will be able offer greater variety and serve more customers.
