Efina is an energetic woman who is 75 years old. She is a widow blessed with 5 chidren. Efina lives with her 4 grandchildren who are going to school with their parents pay their school fees. Efina formed Charakupa group with her friend Rena who rears poultry.
Efina runs a grocery shop in her village. She now has 15 years in this business. Efina has managed to run her grocery business effectively, adjusting rapidly to the ever changing business environment in Zimbabwe. Charakupa group applied for their fourth loan from Thrive Microfinance from which Efina will use her share to buy more grocery items for tuckshop. Her partner Rena will invest her share in her poultry business.
