Aprodicio Tolomea is a 58 years old man, he is married and has two dependents, his grandchildren whose ages are 7 and 3 years old. They are enrolled in school. His wife Nasaria is 58 years old and a full-time housewife. They live in Cebu province where he manages a local busy restaurant servicing the community with delicious and affordable meals. He himself is very experienced in cooking different kinds of dishes. The restaurant has been running for 30 years. Aprodicio has recently been able to acquire a refrigerator where he store sodas and refreshments. He is also engaged in retailing mobile phone credit. He has been a member of the microfinance organisation, Lamac Multi-Purpose Cooperative, for more than a year and he has repaid three past microloans. He plans to use the new loan to acquire additional ingredients to cook new dishes. He wants to support the education of his grandsons and establish a bigger restaurant someday.
