Khaled is 20 years old. He lives with his parents in a town called Kofr Aldan located near Jenin. He has been working in construction since finishing high school. He was not able to continue his education because he couldn’t afford the fees so he had to work to help himself and his family to cover their expenses. To support his family, Khaled decided to start his own business and he wants to open a café in his town. He plans to offer hot and cold drinks, light snacks and he also plans to have some billiard tables for his customers to use. He has applied for a loan to prepare all the decor and furniture that are needed for his café. He wants to be able to generate a stable income for his family and would like to be able to afford to go back to college and finish his education.
