Even though he is now 51 years old Arthur tries to keep up with the latest technological trends and stocks his shop accordingly. As a result his sari-sari or general convenience store has pre-paid mobile cards, and he rents out DVDs as well. He has been a regular borrower with the First Consolidated Cooperative Along Tañon Seaboards (FCCT) for a number of years. The latest loan he is seeking, for the equivalent of $453 loan will be repaid over just 2 months from the First Consolidated Cooperative Along the Tanon Seaboard (FCCT). Arthur started selling from his home in 2001 and a couple of years later built an extension to his home specifically to house the shop. He has two dependents - two nieces, and previously he used to work as a merchant seaman.
