Loan description:
Dragica Krdzalic is 61 and married. She lives with ther husband in the small town of Tesanj in north central Bosnia and Herzegovina. She suffered injuries during the Bosnian war, but she has managed to recover and get back to her feet again. After the war she started a small crochet business. She makes all kinds of tablecloths from silk thread to sell and also responds to special requests and orders. She has several regular customers who she supplies and who sell on her products. Thanks to the income she earned from this business and her husband’s salary they managed to educate their three children - all of them are now married with their own families. Dragica has been an excellent client of the microcredit foundation ‘Women for Women International’ for the past five years. She applied for new loan in order to buy silk threads in bulk as well as other supplies such as needles.
