Shakeela sells fabric used to make women’s clothing to her neighbours and other people living locally. She earns about 15,000 rupees profit (about £110) per month. She now wants to improve her living conditions and increase her income from her work. She has requested this loan to visit the Kasur clothes market to buy men and women’s unstitched fabric to sell on. She promises to pay back the loan in 20 installments. Shakeela is determined to give her daughter a better lifestyle and a good education so she can have a bright future.
