Loan description:
Amina Sacic is 43 years old and married with two daughters. She lives in the district of Ilidza, west of the capital Sarajevo. Both children attend school and her husband works for a private company. Since they struggled financially with his salary alone, she decided to start her own business in floriculture. She specialises in growing roses, lilies and dahlias. She sells the flowers to a local florist - in fact she has a contract with the shop. Sometimes she even receives orders from neighbours to make bouquets for special occasions such as weddings. Her business is progressing well and household income has increased. Amina applied for her third loan from the microfinance organisation 'Women for Women International' in order to buy pots, baskets, seeds in bulk as well as dried flowers. She intends to repay the loan over 12 months.
Loan added: 17 August 2012
