Senada Sadikovic is from the village of Krusevica near the town of Lukavac in north-east Bosnia and Herzegovina. She lives with her husband and their daughter who is two and a five year old son. Her husband is a miner. To supplement his salary Senada sells milk and dairy products from a cow she has. She also grows and sells vegetables from spring through to autumn. Senada has already received and repaid one loan from the microfinance organisation 'Women for Women International' and sought a second in order to buy another cow as there is a ready market for her products. The loan is for 12 months.
