Loan description:
Muhammad Sajid is 29 years old and single. He has two brothers and four sisters, all of siblings are adult, married and live independently. Sajid lives with his elderly parents. He and his father run a greengrocers’ business. They sell various seasonal vegetables from a vegetable stall in the wholesale market. Their primary customers tend to be small vegetable vendors and vegetable shop owners and at times, individual consumers as well. Sajid and his father make a monthly sum of 20,000 Rupees (approx. $192). Both he and his father work extremely hard to earn a living for their family. He now wants to expand his business and has requested for a loan. He will buy larger quantities of vegetables like potatoes, onions, garlic, tomatoes etc. from the farmers’ market. He hopes that with more vegetables to sell he can increase his overall income and make a better living for his family.
