Lucy Cartuche is 26 and single. She started a course at university some years ago, studying child psychology, but was unable to continue for financial reasons - her father was the only one working in the household, he worked as a bricklayer. Lucy obtained a job working in INFA the governmental department responsible for child welfare. She was employed there for two years. Her contract was not renewed and she decided to start her own business selling women's cosmetics. She saved enough to enrol at a technology institute but once again had to suspend her studies because of a medical condition that needed treatment. Lucy found another job working as the radio controller in a taxi firm. She has though continued with her cosmetics business and has sought a loan in order to buy a significant new quantity of stock to sell. Lucy hopes that she can save enough money to enrol at the university once again to continue with her studies.
