Tarseem Irshad is 28 years old and lives in a locality of Lahore called Data Nagar. He lives with his wife, elderly mother, and one sister. He is the only person earning an income in the household. His sister is going to school. He is a photographer and filmmaker. He records religious gatherings called Mehfil-e-Naat, wedding ceremonies and other events. He also does video editing and mixing on a computer. He has been doing this for the past 3 years and earns on average about 20,000 rupees per month (about $192). He uses all his earnings to manage household expenses (utilities and food and clothing). His computer is not working properly. Terseem Sahib wants to purchase a new computer with a faster processing speed as well video editing and mixing software license. For this, he applied for a loan. He considers that he might then work more efficiently and he can increase his earnings.
