Selma Lalic is 26 years old. She lives with her mother and two cousins in the capital city Sarajevo. She graduated last month from the University of Sarajevo. She is still looking for permanent employment. However, until she does she thought it would be useful to continue with her own business. She provides English language and computing classes in software such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point). She has many adult and children students. She is happy with her business as it is providing her with a good level of income. This is Selma's third loan with the microfinance institution 'Women for Women International', she has repaid the previous two without difficulties, and it is to buy a new computer and other equipment. The loan is for 18 months.
