Mina Bibi has a business selling women's clothes and fabric to her neighbours for the past four years and earns 7,000 rupees profit on average per month. They estimate that their monthly outgoings include 2,000 rupees for utility bills and up to 16,000 rupees for food and clothing. They are worried about their financial situation. Mina Bibi has decided to buy a greater stock of clothing of different varieties to sell, and has applied for a loan. She will buy women’s clothes and shawls from the large market to re-sell and repay the loan in 17 instalments.
