Nabila Nasir lives in Lahore. She is 28 years old and married with one son and two daughters. Two of her children are getting an education while one is infant. Her husband works in a market and gets 15,000 rupees per month. To support her husband, Nabila is contributing towards managing their household expenses. She makes fancy hand bands locally called ‘Gana’. ‘Gana’ is hand band which groom wear on his wedding. It is tradition in Pakistan and very common. Nabila gets orders of this production from wholesale market. She buys all of her fancy material from Rang Mehal. She manages to earn 5,500 rupees per month. With their current household earnings, they are still facing problem in managing their household expenses. Nabila has applied for a loan to expand her business. She will buy fancy material in bulk. She promised to pay back loan in 17 installments.
