Rasheeda is applying for a loan so she could visit the market and purchase damaged and used sweaters. She runs a yarn extracting business and use traditional wooden machine (called charkha) for extracting the yarn.
Rasheeda Bibi is 40 year old and inhabitant of Kasur. She is mother of two sons and two daughters. All of her children are getting education. Her husband work in power loom from where he gets 12,000 rupees per month. Rasheeda herself un-stitches sweaters and makes yarn which she then sells to power looms. She earns about 6,000 rupees per month. She buys damaged sweaters and used sweaters buy visiting Kasur market. She requested a loan to use as working capital. She hopes by working more she could earn better and could provide better living to her family.
