Zakia Bibi requested a loan to buy all the accessories she requires for her traditional embroidery business. Specifically it is for fabric, and artificial diamonds and pearls. She is 43 and married with four children and lives in the locality of Kasur in her own house. Zakia has two sons and two daughters. Two of her children are still in school. Her husband works and earns 8,000 rupees a month. Zakia Bibi is a specialist embroiderer and undertakes Silma Sitara work from home. She has been in this business for 10 years now. She earns approximately 6,000 rupees per month. Zakia sells the finished clothes to different retailers in local markets. The purchase will allow her to produce and sell more and increase income.
