We visited Rosalie on 7th June 2012. She now produces gari and palm oil as well as growing pineapples. Thanks to the loans she has received from ACFB, her business has continued to develop. It allows her to take care of her family and save for future plans. With such savings, she has bought two plots of land: one in Danhonoukou and the other in Fandji. The problem that she currently faces is that the machine she uses to crush her cassava is damaged, so she currently has to travel long distances to do this task. She would like to take out another loan when she can so that she can purchase another machine. In the future she would also like some help exporting the pineapples she grows because there is not currently a large enough market for them in Benin.
