We visited Latifatou on 7th June 2012. With her latest loan she has equipped and opened her new shop. She has also been established in the area with her grinding machine (pictured here) for 5 years now. She is proud to say that her business continues to develop. The latest loan enabled her to purchase various products including mayonnaise, starch products, milk drinks and tinned milk. She has also added to the products she sells: maize, rice and kitchen utensils such as basins and other plastic containers. Together, all of these activities provide her family with a source of stable income. Latifatou hopes that in the future that by increasing her loan amounts she will be able to also sell fabrics, jewellery, shoes and bags.
