The group’s members are mainly involved in agricultural production, particularly the cultivation of tomatoes, maize and beans.
Agbodohoun has been a farmer for 15 years. Aged 41, he is married to a fellow farmer and is a father. He works in the fields and devotes most of his time to agricultural production. Thanks to his share of the loan, he hopes to expand his farming business and improve his tiger nut production in order to achieve better yields. This funding will enable him to purchase the inputs needed to optimise his production and increase his income. Before obtaining the loan, he lived in difficult conditions due to the limited resources available to him for developing his farming business.
He believes that this loan will help improve his financial situation and that of his family. His long-term goal is to achieve financial independence through the development of his farm. The profits generated will be reinvested in his business to support its growth and ensure its sustainability. The group members believe that this loan will enable them to improve their production capacity by investing further in their farms.
