Animatou Fernando is a 37 year old married woman with 4 children whose ages are between 8 and 20 years old. All the children are students. Her husband is a driver. Animantou did not go to school, she had to leave it when she was in 2nd year. She now has a shop that sells plastic items: mainly kitchen utensils and shoes. She buys her supplies at the Lome market (in Togo) and sells them in Ylomahuto. She has been a customer of the microfinance institution ACFB for 6 years and would like to have another loan to buy more stock: bowls, buckets, containers, coolers and plastic shoes and sandals. Animantou will use the profits to her her husband with the household expenses, mainly the school fees and other education related expenses.
