Nancy Adelaida Masache Maicela is 43 and married with three children. Doña Nancy lives in the neighbourhood of Tejar de Jericó in the city of Loja. She considers herself a hardworking woman. She takes in washing charging $2 for every 12 pieces of clothing. This has never really been enough income for her so about three years ago she decided to start raising chickens and guinea pigs as well which she sells for their meat every few months. She uses the income she generates to help pay for her children's schooling costs. She can also work from home and attend to her household tasks at the same time. Doña Nancy requested a loan in order to buy more birds and animals.
