Loan description:
Moeurn Morl is 33 years old and married to Linh. They have six children who are aged between 18 and 4 years old. Their three older children are currently studying at the local government school. Moeurn and her family live in a village in Banon district, which is in Battambang province. They have a business running a general store from their home which generates a revenue of around $40 a day. Moeurn and Linh buy new stock for their shop every day from the local market. To earn extra income for their household they also have another business raising pigs and they now have six pigs. They use commercial feed mixed with rice bran to feed their pigs. After a period of four months their pigs are ready to be sold on the market. To ensure their pig rearing buisness continues to grow while their working capital is limited, they have sought a loan in order to purchase more piglets, commercial feed and rice bran. In addition, a part of the loan will also be used to purchase some wood to improve their home. They plan to repay this loan over ten months.
