Loan description:
Affi is 41 years old and lives in the neighborhood of Avedji in Lomé with her husband and their three children aged between twelve and five. They are all enrolled in school . Affi 's husband is a bricklayer. To supplement household income, two years ago Affi opened a jewelery business. She now owns a market stall on the great market of Lomé. She sells mainly jewellery such as watches, necklaces and bracelets. She buys her stock once a month on the Grand Market of Cotonou in Benin or Lagos in Nigeria. Affi wants to continue to invest in her small business. For this purpose she is requesting a loan which she will pay back over 12 months. She will use this loan to increase her stock by buying mainly watches and necklaces which customers want more during these festive seasons. She's hoping the longer term evolution of her business will enable her to become a wholesaler in this field.
