Loan description:
Pierrette Agri is a widow. She is 50 years old and has one child who is still at school. She has been producing palm oil and gari (cassava flour) . She has been in this business for 30 years. She has a small workshop at home. She sells her production to wholesalers in the village and at the market of Zinvie. She buys cassava and palm nuts at the fields of Kpanroun but she also produces her own cassava and maize with the help of temporary labourers. For the production of palm oil and gari she employs 4 people. Pierrette has been a member of the microcredit institution ACFB and she is now requiring a loan to buy large volumes of cassava and palm nuts directly in the fields near her village. She will also use the money to recruit the people she needs for planting. The profit generated will go towards the household expenses but she also intends to make some savings and expand her business by increasing production.
