Loan description:
Mirian Celi is 26 and a single mother, she has a daughter aged six and they live together in the town of Catamayo with her sister. Mirian mainly raises and sells chickens but she also earns from selling spices and condiments. She does recieve some financial support from her daughter's father. Mirian requested a loan in order to buy feed in bulk for the chickens. She sells the chickens for their meat on a per kilogram basis at the local market. The sister she is living with is battling with cancer and Mirian and her other siblings all make financial contributions for her treatment. Mirian's main hope is that her sister's health improves. She would also like one day to live in her own house.
