Loan description:
Try Kha is 45 years old and married with three children. They are between 22 and 10 years old and only the two younger ones still attend the local school; the eldest get married. Currently they live in Watkandal village, Raing Kesey commune in Sangke district, Battambang province. Try has been running a business raising ducks for the past ten years; he has raised 2,500 of ducks and over three months all of his ducks can deliver eggs that he can sell. Most of his eggs are bought from his fellow villagers and sometimes he sells by himself at the local market which is located 5 kilometers from his home. He generally uses commercial feed to mix the fish together in order to feed them. As his working capital is in shortage, he has asked for a loan in order to buy more female ducks and commercial feed and rice bran for his ducks. He aims to return this loan within 14 months and wants to use it to add more female ducks so he can expand his egg sales.
