Selma Mehmedovic is 28 years old and married. She lives in a place called Rankovici near to the city of Novi Travnik in central Bosnia with her husband and two sons. One of the sons goes to school. Selma needed a way to provide a better life and future for her family so she started a business. She has two cows from which she produces milk, homemade cheese and cream. She also grows potatoes, onions and carrots. She sells all of her products to regular customers in Novi Travnik. She is very pleased with her business and managed to expand and maintain it at a high level. The business brings in significant income which provides security and quality of life for Selma and her family. Selma has been a very good client of the microcredit foundation Women for Women International for the last six years. She has now applied for another loan in order to buy another cow and fulfil her rise in orders.
