Suvada Krusko is 51 years old and married. She lives with her husband in a place called Jastrebac in the city of Zenica. Her husband works for a local company but his income is not enough to fund their living expenses and the schooling of their two children. In order to help her husband to provide a better life for them Suvada started a business in farming. She has two hectares of soil where she grow vegetables such as potatoes, onions, beans, and corn, which she then sells at the local food market. Besides that she has two cows from which she produces milk, cheese and cream, which she sells to a few restaurants. She is very satisfied with the work and income that she provides. Suvada received two loans from the microcredit foundation Women for Women International and has now applied for another in order to buy new seeds and prepare her soil for sowing.
