Aida Spahic is 29 years old and married. She lives with her family in a place called Spahici in the city of Zenica. She and her husband have two small children. Her husband works for a local company but Aida was unable to find a job. Henceforth she decided to start her own business raising livestock. Today she has 2 cows, 10 sheep and 7 lambs. She produces milk, homemade cheese, cream, meat and wool. She has managed to develop her business to a high level. At the beginning it was hard, but she managed to gradually expand the business and now she has a lot of satisfied regular customers in Zenica and further afield. The work gives her pleasure, safety and a significant income which covers household expenses. Aida received two loans from the microcredit foundation Women for Women International and applied for another. She needs this loan because she is going to buy more sheep and further expand the business. She is young but a great worker and fighter.
