Bosnia-Herzegovina
Loan description:
Ajisa Musaefendic is 61 years old and married. She lives with her husband in the city of Zenica in central Bosnia. Several years ago her husband became ill with Parkinson's disease. He has a pension but it only provides enough for his medical treatments, medicines and some household expenses. As a result, Ajisa decided to start a business in upholstery to bring in more income for them. She developed the business in a short time because she had experience as a tailor. She makes upholstery for all kinds of furniture. She is very satisfied and proud of herself because she has managed to successfully expand her business in a short time. This job enables her to cover expenses. Ajisa has a been an excellent client of the microcredit foundation, Women for Women International, for the last six years. She has now applied for a new loan in order to buy materials for the expansion of her business. Ajisa is a very modest and honest person but a great fighter too.
