Loan description:

Berekissou is a 45 year old woman and a married mother to six children aged between 6 and 36. Today, the eldest are independent and are able to live as such. They have all been educated or are in education. Her husband is a retailer. In order to generate an income, she buys and resells grains (corn, beans, millet) that she buys from the markets surrounding Atakpamé, notably Afondja, Djarfe and Agbota. She has more than more than 30 years experience in this trade. She runs her business normally from her home but from the market at Anié on days where there is a lot activity. Berekissou is requesting her first loan from the microfinance organisation WAGES for 900,000 West African francs; Berekissou will use this money to expand her stock through the purchase of sacks of corn and beans. She envisages repaying this loan in 15 instalments. Berekissou hopes that with the benefit of this financial support she will be able to grow her business and ensure the wellbeing and prosperity of her family.

Berekissou est une femme de 45 ans, mariée et mère de 06 enfants âgés entre 6 et 36 ans. Les plus âgés sont à ce jour, autonomes et installés à leur propre compte. Ils sont tous scolarisés. Son mari est revendeur.

Comme activité génératrice de revenus, elle achète et revend des céréales (maïs, haricot, mil) qu’elle achète sur les marchés périphériques de la ville d’Atakpamé notamment Afondja, Djarfe et Agbota. Elle a une ancienneté de plus de 30 ans dans ce commerce. La vente se déroule à son domicile les jours ordinaires et sur le marché d’Anié à son jour d’animation.

Berekissou est à son 1er prêt à WAGES. D’un montant de 900 000FCFA, ce crédit sera destiné à l’achat de sacs de maïs et de haricot.

Elle envisage rembourser ce crédit en 15 mensualités.
