Loan description:

A retailer by profession, Amadou is 46 years old and the father to a family of five children, aged from 1 to 14. The eldest three children are in school. Amadou lives with his wife, who is a retailer, and their children in the neighbourhood of Awourandouné in the city of Atakpamé. Amadou has run his business in the trade of general food products, with the help of one person, since 2007. His shop, called ‘Bon Prix’ (‘Good Price’), is located in Amlamé-Awourandoumé. Previously a retailer in fabrics, today Amadou sells general food products because the return on investment for these product is improving – this allows him to be more competitive at the market, but most notably it makes him much more able to meet the needs of his family, in particular his five children. Amadou is seeking his first loan for 700,000 West African francs, repayable in twelve installments, from the microfinance organisation WAGES. This would enable Amadou to expand his general stocks, which he does at Lomé. He hopes that he will be able to grow his business in this way and ensure the wellbeing and prosperity of all his family.

Revendeur de profession, Amadou est âgé de 46 ans et père d’une famille de cinq enfants dont le premier et le dernier ont respectivement 14 ans et 1 an. Les trois premiers de ses enfants sont scolarisés. La femme d’Amadou est une revendeuse et toute la famille dans le quartier d’Awourandouné dans la ville d’Atakpamé. Amadou exerce le commerce des produits d’Alimentation générale depuis 2007 et se fait par une personne dans sa tâche. Il mène son activité dans son Etablissement du nom de BON PRIX situé à Amlamé-Awourandoumé. Auparavant commerçant de tissu, mais aujourd’hui Amadou fait le commerce des produits d’alimentation générale car le retour sur investissement devient intéressant, aussi pour subvenir aux besoins de sa famille notamment de ses cinq enfants et surtout pour être plus compétitif sur le marché, Amadou sollicite pour la première fois un crédit de 700 000 F CFA auprès de WAGES remboursable en douze mensualités. Ce prêt va servir à l’achat des produits d’alimentation générale à Lomé pour le même montant. Il espère ainsi accroitre son activité et assurer un bien être et une prospérité à toute sa famille.
