Mao

Loan description:

Mao Yart is 38 years and married with three children. They are between 8 and 18 years old and all of them are in full time education at their local school. They live in Rohal Soung village, Prek Norin commune in Ek Phnom district, Battambang province. Mao and her husband Rot Pok have spend their as farmers over 15 years and presently farm around one hectare and half. The yield provides them around two tones and half per hectare and they stock about one ton for their basic needs and sell the remainder out to millers. They are able to grow their crops twice a year on the same farm. As their working capital is currently in shortage, they have applied for a loan in order to expand their stock of seeds, insecticide, commercial fertilizer and diesel for their water pump.
