This update comes from Chantha, who shared that owning a tractor has made a big difference to his rice farming. With it, he can plough his rice paddy on time and reduce the overall costs of running his farm. Just last week, he finished preparing his land to begin growing short-term rice again as the rainy season starts.
Chantha also mentioned that meeting his loan repayments has not been difficult, as he earns additional income by fishing. On average, he can earn around ten dollars a day from selling the fish he catches, which provides valuable support for his family.
What makes Chantha happiest is being able to support his children’s education. His greatest hope is to see them graduate from university one day. He is grateful for the support that continues to help him work towards this dream.
